Surge Accounts hasn't launched yet. Right now the only information we hold is what you give us when you join the waiting list. This page explains what that is, and what will change when we launch.
Who we are
Surge Accounts is run by Fightlore Limited (company number 15185924). We are responsible for your information. Contact us any time at infosurgechannel@gmail.com.
What we collect now
- Your email address, so we can tell you when Surge Accounts opens.
- Your company name, if you choose to give it.
- Your company's year end, if you use the deadline calculator before joining, so we know which deadlines matter to you.
We also briefly use your IP address to stop spam sign-ups. We don't use advertising trackers on this page.
What we use it for
Sending you one email when Surge Accounts launches, with your founding-member price. Nothing else, unless you ask for more.
Want off the list? Just email us. We never sell your information or share it for marketing.
When we launch
To prepare your accounts we'll need things like bank statements and receipts. When that starts:
- We'll use your documents only to prepare and file your company's accounts and tax return.
- AI reads your documents to sort transactions. Your data is never used to train AI models.
- Nothing is filed until you, as director, have checked and approved it.
- Approved accounts are sent to Companies House and HMRC through a recognised filing partner. They see only what's needed to file.
- We keep accounting records for as long as the law requires (usually 6 years), then delete them.
We'll update this page with full details before we take any documents from you.
Who helps us
- Vercel hosts this website.
- Hetzner (Germany) hosts the server that stores the waiting list.
- Google Fonts provides the page's fonts.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or ask us to stop using it. Email infosurgechannel@gmail.com and we'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Why we're allowed to use it
We use your waiting-list details because you asked us to (consent). You can withdraw that at any time. When we launch, we'll use your documents to provide the service you've signed up for (contract), and keep records because the law requires it (legal obligation).
